Why did you decide to start lessons?
Because I wanted to start an instrument. I chose violin because it was my dad’s idea.
How long have you been taking lessons?
2.5 years (since I was in kindergarten)

no
How often do you practice?
Every day for 15 to 20 minutes.
What is one of your favorite pieces you have learned so far?
Chorus from Judas Maccabaeus by Handel
What advice do you have for other musicians studying your instrument?
Never give up. It’s a really hard instrument, but it sounds really good when you get it right.
What do you enjoy about lessons?
Playing the instrument.
What do you like about Dynamic Music Studios?
All the teachers here are nice. I really performing at the Falloween Recital.
What goals do you have for lessons?
Trying to get the notes right and the rhythm. I really want to learn vibrato and play in an orchestra.
What is your favorite musical/orchestral work/piano piece/artist?
I liked a Halloween piece my sister, Sarah, played called Pumpkin Boogie.
What are some other activities in which you participate?
I study ballet and hip-hop dance at Nolte in Coralville.
