​Teaching Philosophy

My goal is to inspire my students through music, and I want it to change their lives the way it changed mine. In each lesson I hope my students walk away feeling like their lives are better because they got to sing and dance.

Biography

​

Alyssa has been pursuing music since elementary school, and has been in vocal lessons for around 10 years. Although singing is her favorite activity, she has also attended piano lessons for 10 years, as well as playing the flute in school for 6. Alyssa has always wanted to be a teacher, but it was in her later years of high school that she truly discovered her passion for vocal instruction. Alyssa is currently saving up to get her four-year degree in music education at the University of Iowa.
